Software Capabilities

Architecture Sharing

Get the most from your architecture by supporting evidenced decision-making by architects and non-architects. A wide range of stakeholders can view and interact with content via a web browser using our Active Enterprise technology to tailor views for particular users or persona groups. Users don’t need to learn the entire software package or engage with the whole architecture.

Action buttons, matrices and charts provide a range of functions, from evidencing rigour at a programme gate to enabling write access to populate your architecture.

Programme Collaboration

MooD enables collaboration between teams of architects in order to maximise re-use and teamwork. Multiple users can engage around a single architecture to comment and feedback around key concepts and construct multiple models.

Security and governance are key. A proven, user defined permissions model operates at group, user or field level, restricting or opening read or write access as the need arises. This is particularly useful to maintain consistency and control if a programme is required to work in the same repository on a number of projects.

Building Business Applications

MooD has a richly featured presentation layer with action buttons, matrices, relatedness charts and visualisations. Users can tailor architecture to a business need, enable instrumentation from multiple data sources and share insights quickly with business users in their own language. These features make MooD Enterprise an extremely capable tool for building business applications, from proof of concepts as part of a design phase to enterprise-class solutions with thousands of users.

Architecture Design

MooD offers a framework agnostic approach to architecture design, which makes it exceptionally flexible and agile. As well as embedded, out-of-the-box frameworks such as ArchiMate and TOGAF, our customers and users have the freedom to adopt their own approach to modelling, using bespoke business language and meta models.

This flexible approach means you can scale architectural or design discipline across any business or function, tailoring the language and structure to the business problem or stakeholder group. All frameworks can be extended, so the user can add concepts, growing and evolving to keep pace with business needs.

Digital Twinning

Users can seed defined architectural models with data, using MooD Synchronisation Activation Technology (SAT). SAT supports a simple import process for content from a wide range of sources to populate the architecture with elements, relationships and attributes. You can instrument the model to provide an “always on” Digital Twin capability, for constant and complete oversight of your business systems architecture.

Architecture Analysis

An easy-to-use, non-technical query engine allows stakeholders around the business to gain insight from architectural content. MooD creates stunning visualisations, including matrices and charts, to increase participation and understanding from architecture and design insights.
